New Zealand Internal Affairs Minister Richard Worth has been forced to resign after allegations in parliament that he may have profited personally during his controversial trip to India last month.
Worth is chairman of India Trade Group, and a director in the India Overseas Group and New Zealand Aviation.
Hauled over the coals in parliament by the Opposition, Worth said there was no conflict of interest over his six-day trip to India, where he allegedly spoke on behalf of the government while brokering business deals for India Trade Group.
