After the recent attack on Sri Lankan cricketers in Pakistan, it is not necessary to go ahead with the IPL, especially with elections round the corner. Keeping in mind the turmoil in the sub continent, it would be wise to cancel the tournament. The game can wait. Security of our nation is more important than any sport.

There's a lot of hue and cry over the hosting of the IPL. Elections are approaching, and a lot of time has been wasted by our politicians over this mindless game. IPL is nothing but just a tamasha. After the attack on Sri Lankan players, it's better to cancel the league.
