Woman faces 10 years in jail for giving water to thirsty pigs

Toronto: A woman who fed water to pigs in a lorry faces jail after being accused of 'criminal mischief'.

Yesterday, a court in Milton charged her with "criminal mischief".

Anita Krajnc was standing by the roadside in Canada, waiting for passing pig trucks.

When the trucks stopped, she fed them water through gaps in the lorry.

The truck driver asked her to stop giving the pigs water. The next day police informed her there had been a complaint against her.
