Earlier this week, a video of a street fight in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat went viral on social media and it led to installation of a new ware in the meme market, the âchacha'.
With his unique hairstyle of long, brown hair, âchacha' aka chaat seller Harinder, who was part of the viral video, instantly became a social media favourite.
On February 22, eight persons were arrested after a violent clash erupted between two groups of shopkeepers in the Baraut area in Baghpat of Uttar Pradesh.
"Eight people have been arrested in connection with the clash that broke out between two groups of shopkeepers in Baraut area of Baghpat earlier today. Necessary action is being taken," said Baghpat Police.

In the video of the incident, a group of men took on each other with sticks and rods as passers-by watched in disbelieve. The footage, many said, looked âstraight out of a 90s film'.
Harinder told ANI that he has been running his business there for over 40 years, however, for the last few months sales have been down. Blaming the other party for stealing his customers during the period, he alleged that their chaat would not sell and "they make my customers go away."
As hashtag #Baghpat dominated Twitter and Instagram, many came up with hilarious reactions. And after the police released a photo showing all eight accused arrested in the case, it triggered a meme-fest.
