Me for a 'saas': Smriti Irani has a friendly warning for her daughter Shanelle's fiance

Union Minister Smriti Irani took to social media site Instagram to announce her daughter Shanelle's engagement news and she did it like a total 'saas'.

Shanelle is getting engaged to Arjun Bhalla.

The post was shared by BJP MP on December 25 and was captioned as, "To the man who now has our heart @arjun_bhalla welcome to our mad cap family .. bless you for you have to deal with a crazy man for a father in law & worse .. me for a Saas … (you have been officially warned) God bless @shanelleirani #newbeginnings (sic)."

Shanelle is the daughter of Zubin Irani (Smriti's husband) and his first wife Mona Irani. He, too, couldn't contain his excitement and shared a heartwarming post on Instagram for Arjun. He wrote, "Son in law to be welcome to our crazy family. You are not just smart and witty you are brave and patient. We are glad because we know it takes someone special to put up with this clan. Congratulations."

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy offered her congratulations. Meanwhile, Smriti's friend producer Ekta Kapoor also congratulated her and said she is very happy for Smriti as she had prayed so much for this moment.
