Sikhs congregate at gurdwaras on Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti to pray, sing devotional songs, and hear religious discourses. The day is characterised by a sense of community, with langar (community kitchen) services offering free meals to everybody, regardless of caste, creed, or religion.
