Call it making a Merc, or simply car-o-baar dekho.
Tardeo couple Shahrukh and Havovi Goveshni won the C-200 class Mercedes on offer at the Derby yesterday. The delighted couple said that though they were not racing regulars, but they "do attend the big race events like the Classics and the Derby of course".
In fact, they continue the tradition of non-regular punters winning luxury cars that are up for grabs on big race days.

A trend
Last year, a rank newcomer to the racecourse, a 22-year-old girl had won the draw.
The Goveshnis, for the moment, do plan to keep the car, Havovi said with a smile, "Of course, there will be celebrations when we go back home in the evening."u00a0
They did not drive home in the Mercedes though. "We have to go to the Royal Western India Turf Club office to complete certain formalities before we get the car," said Havovi.
The couple, who own an Innova said, "Even when we were filling the contest form we were quite optimistic."
Added Havovi, "In fact, Shahrukh has always been a very positive person."
Apparently, it is not just one Shah Rukh who hits the box office every time.
