MiD DAY cartoonist Satish Acharya's works make it to the BBC

Five of Acharya's cartoons on Barack Obama made it to the BBC Global Political Cartoons slideshow section this week, meant as a weekly review of the news through the lens of international political cartoons.



The cartoons featured from all over the world on the slideshow make it clear that the biggest global news this week centred Barack Obama's Asia tour, and his predecessor George W Bush's just-released memoirs, Decision Points.

Acharya's five chosen panels touch on how everyone tried to cash in on the Obama mania, and alluded to the litany of security that followed Obama around wherever he went, among other things.
