India`s ace wrestler Vinesh Phogat announced her retirement from the sport following her disqualification in the 50 kg freestyle wrestling final at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The 29-year-old athlete was disqualified for being 100 grams overweight hours before her gold medal bout on 7th August. But was her disqualification in the Paris Olympics justified?
