The rescue operations at the Uttarkashi tunnel collapse site are going on in full swing. On November 21, the first visuals of the trapped workers emerged as an endoscopy camera was sent inside the rubble. The family members of the stranded workers had a ray of hope after the visuals emerged. For the last 10 days, 41 workers have been trapped inside the tunnel. Hot meals were being served to the trapped men through a six-inch pipeline. Vertical drilling machines have arrived at the spot to accelerate the rescue operations. International tunnelling experts were present at the spot and they assured the safety of trapped men. International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association president Arnold Dix, who has been roped in as part of the ongoing rescue efforts at the Uttarkashi tunnel collapse site, on Tuesday said he was absolutely sure that the 41 trapped workers will come home soon.
