Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate first traditional Hindu Mandir in UAE and the largest in the West Asia on February 14. Made with 1,800,000 bricks and 689,512 man-hours, 40,000 cubic feet of marble, 180,000 cubic feet of sandstone have been used in the temple. The cost of 108-foot-tall is estimated to be approximately million 440 Dirham. Foundation stone for the temple was laid by PM Modi in 2017. Built on 27 acres of land, the colossal structure can accommodate up to 10,000 people. The temple draws its inspiration from ‘lotus in the desert’. The temple boasts seven spires, each representing an emirate in UAE.
