On December 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at Hyderabad House in Delhi. Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi welcomed President Dissanayake at Rashtrapati Bhavan. There, President Dissanayake was given a Guard of Honour by the combined defence services. Following this, Prime Minister Modi and President Dissanayake held talks at the delegation level to discuss various matters between India and Sri Lanka. This meeting aimed to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and explore areas of cooperation. Watch video for more information
