PM Modi’s ‘Ekantawas’ mocked by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge

PM Modi was mocked by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his meditation trip in Kanyakumari. Kherge went on to say that the PM is wasting the country’s money for his “show-off”. He should rather do it in his home, or bear the expenses on his own, he added. He said, “On entering into politics, one shouldn`t bring religion into politics, both should be kept away. He (PM Modi) himself said this, but, the drama that he is doing in Kanniyakumari; almost 10,000 security personnels are there, it`s a waste of the country`s money. He knows that there is code of conduct in place. Who will bear the expenses? If you have this much faith in God, do it at your home, or bear expenses from your pocket.”
