Kolkata doctor rape & murder case: Bengali artists and actors raise their voice for the victim

The recent Kolkata doctor rape & murder case has sparked nationwide outrage. On August 16, protests took place in Kolkata at midnight, with many actors and artists from the Bengali film industry joining in. Bengali actress Solanki Roy voiced the sentiment that “enough is enough.” One protester expressed fear about going out after the tragic event. In response to the case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified their probe. So far, they have arrested 19 people and summoned 5 doctors from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital for questioning.
