Congress MP Rahul Gandhi reached the residence of a victim of the Hathras stampede, in Aligarh on July 05. After Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi`s visit, a member of a bereaved family said, "He told us that he would help us with the help of the party... He asked us how everything happened...". Over 121 people have been killed in a crush at a religious gathering in Uttar Pradesh`s Hathras, on 2nd July. The incident took place at a Satsang which is a hindu religious event, at Phulrai village in Hathras. The victims, including a large number of women and some children, are still being identified. As per the reports, the stampede took place after the satsang when a crowd of thousands of people started exiting the venue at once.
