Days after Beijing objected to the theme of `Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam`, citing that the phrase cannot be used in the official text of the G20 as it is in Sanskrit, Dr S Jaishankar on August 31 explained the real meaning of `Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam`. `Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam` translates to "One Earth, One Earth, One Family, One Future" New Delhi is dolled up as India is all set to host the G20 Leaders’ Summit on September 9 and 10. The 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi will be a culmination of all the G20 processes and meetings held throughout the year. India assumed the G20 Presidency on December 1, 2022, and will hold the chair till November 30, this year.
