Two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire at an individual in Sanpada, near D-Mart, on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 9:30 am when the assailants fired five to six rounds before fleeing the scene. Witnesses quickly alerted the police, and officers arrived to investigate. The victim, whose identity is yet to be revealed, was rushed to a nearby hospital. According to DCP Amit Kale from the Navi Mumbai Crime Branch, the injured person`s condition is stable. The police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the attackers. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing. Watch video for more information.
