Bangladeshi journalist opens up on struggles of Hindus & minorities in Dhaka

On December 30, US-based journalist and human rights advocate Sitangshu Guha, along with Bangladeshi journalist Sushanta Das Gupta, spoke out about the struggles faced by Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. Sitangshu Guha emphasized that under the leadership of Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, militant Islamists have gained significant power in the country. Guha expressed concern that this has led to an increase in the oppression and discrimination faced by religious minorities, particularly Hindus, in Bangladesh. He called attention to the growing influence of extremist groups and their impact on the rights and freedoms of vulnerable communities in the nation.
