Anti-government protests in Bangladesh became deadly, with people demanding Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s resignation. Amid the ongoing Bangladesh protests, Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled to India for safety. Meanwhile, protesters stormed her official residence in Dhaka. Indian security forces were ready for any situation as Hasina traveled to India. Around 3 PM, Indian Air Force radars detected an aircraft coming from Bangladesh. Since they knew Sheikh Hasina was on the plane, they allowed it to enter Indian airspace. To ensure her safe passage, two Rafale jets from the 101 Squadron at Hashimara air base in Bengal were sent to escort the plane. The Indian security forces worked carefully to protect Hasina and ensure her safe arrival in India amidst the tense situation. Watch video.
