Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray led a protest march in south Mumbai on Thursday against the recent railway station stampede and bullet train project at metro cinema area. The MNS was demanding better railway infrastructure for commuters following the stampede that killed nearly 23 people on September 29. The Mumbai Police had denied permission for the MNS protest rally, but still the march was carried out. Thousands of MNS workers holding flags took to streets and raised slogans against the government.
