Bal Gangadhar Tilak, born on July 23 in 1856, hailed from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He was a social reformer and a teacher. Tilak has played a key role in the Indian independence movement. He always voiced for ‘Purna Swaraj’ the need for a nationwide movement

On the occasion of the 166th birth anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Dr. Kasturba Hospital Medical Superintendent, Chandrakant Pawar paid respects by offering flowers.
