Chaos at bus stations in Mysuru, Mandya, and Chamarajanagar as state transport corporations canceled services in the wake of the Cauvery water dispute bandh.
Pro-Kannada activists gathered outside Kempegowda International Airport to protest the Cauvery water-sharing issue, resulting in police intervention.
Farmers and pro-Kannada organisations demonstrated outside the airport too; a group had even gathered near Kempegowda International Airport's arrival gate to register their protest over the Cauvery water dispute.
The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) reported significant reductions in bus operations, with Mysuru and Chamarajanagar divisions being the worst affected.
Agitators blocked roads and staged protests in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mandya, and Chamarajanagar, leading to traffic disruptions during the bandh.
Passengers expressed their frustration and disappointment at the cancellation of flights and bus services, causing them to miss their travel plans amid the Karnataka bandh.
