BJP members, in the protest staged in the Parliament premises, chanted and held banners reading "C for Congress and C for Corruption," and demanded accountability from the Congress leadership.

Alleging a history of corruption within the Congress, Nadda sought answers from Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi regarding the substantial cash stash discovered, linking it to claims of corruption within the party.

BJP leaders accused the Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu of being the "ATM of the Congress," asserting that the recovered cash, amounting to over Rs 300 crore, raises questions about his business dealings and the party's alleged involvement in corruption.

Income Tax authorities continued their probe into properties linked to Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu, completing the counting of recovered cash, scheduled for deposit at a Balangir SBI branch following official protocols.

ANI sources revealed that the staggering amount of cash seized during the Income Tax raids is over Rs 300 crore, with ongoing scrutiny of associated properties in Odisha and Jharkhand.

SBI's Regional Manager updated on the currency counting process, confirming the completion of the count for 140 out of 176 bags seized, with meticulous scrutiny by bank officials and currency counting machines.

Income Tax officials persisted with their survey of properties related to Dheeraj Sahu, conducting documentation processes in tandem with the ongoing searches in Balangir, Odisha, and Jharkhand.
