The party has alleged that the Enforcement Directorate arrested Singh as he raised issues related to the Adani Group in Parliament

Singh was arrested on Wednesday in connection with alleged corruption in 2021-22 Delhi Excise policy case

In response to the arrest of Singh, Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi on Thursday gave an open challenge to BJP and asked the ruling party to provide proof for the RS leader's arrest

"I want to challenge the BJP that even if a single rupee of corruption is found from Sanjay Singh's residence, then the proof should be presented before the country. I want to ask the BJP that they have raided Sanjay Singh's residence, I invite them to send ED, and CBI to raid his paternal house and his bank locker. I can challenge that not even a single paisa of corruption would be found," the Delhi Minister said

Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Raut, expressed strong criticism of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accusing them of engaging in political manoeuvres through central agencies. Raut's remarks come in response to the recent arrest of AAP MP Sanjay Singh in connection with a liquor excise policy case

Raut stated, "The BJP is using central agencies as a political tool. Let them continue doing so until 2024, and we will keep fighting against it. In places where the BJP is not in power, these raids will continue."

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled central government over the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh saying that "their vindictive politics knows no bounds". "The Union BJP Government's vindictive politics knows no bounds! Arresting AAP MP Sanjay Singh and raiding DMK MP Jagathrakshakan's home are clear examples of their misuse of independent investigating agencies for political ends against INDIA bloc leaders," Stalin said in a post on 'X' on Thursday.
