Rescuers, along with local police, swiftly responded and had rescued 19 labourers who were trapped under the debris.

Despite the prompt rescue efforts, two individuals could not survive and succumbed to their injuries.

Speaking to reporters, Additional Director General of Police, DK Thakur said the deceased were identified as Mohit (30) and Piyush (28).

Meanwhile, the injured persons have been rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
