The CM's office-cum-residence, previously Pragathi Bhavan, now renamed Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan under Reddy's governance, signifies a symbolic departure from past practices. The removal of iron barricades in front of the Chief Minister's office stands as a visible change reflecting the administration's approach under the new leadership.

CM Reddy's administration declared the establishment of Akkampeta as a revenue village in early actions towards decentralisation and administrative reforms. Additionally, Reddy promptly endorsed the six guarantees promised in the Congress manifesto for Telangana.

The six guarantees, encompassing schemes such as "Mahalakshmi," "Rythu Bharosa," "Gruha Jyothi," "Indiramma Indlu," "Yuva Vikasam," and "Cheyutha," outline a comprehensive welfare agenda aimed at women, farmers, households, students, and senior citizens. These promises encompass financial assistance, housing plots, education support, and pension benefits.

Revanth Reddy's swearing-in ceremony as the first Congress CM of Telangana witnessed the attendance of notable Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and the party's national president, Mallikarjun Kharge. This presence signifies party support and solidarity with the new administration.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office to Reddy at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad, formalizing the transition of power. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu also took the oath, marking the state's leadership transition.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended congratulations to Telangana's new CM, expressing support for the state's progress and the well-being of its citizens, highlighting a collaborative approach between the central and state governments.

The Telangana Congress, securing an absolute majority with 64 out of 119 seats, led to Revanth Reddy's assumption of office. His victory in Kodangal by a significant margin signifies the party's electoral success and popular mandate for change.
