It will be formally launched by the Railway Ministry Ashwini Vaishnaw at the Delhi Cantt. Railway Station

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that as part of an initiative to enhance punctuality and turnaround time, Vande Bharat trains will undergo thorough cleaning within a remarkable 14-minute timeframe

In addition to Delhi Cantt, this swift cleaning initiative will be introduced at other significant railway stations such as Varanasi, Gandhinagar, Mysore, and Nagpur

Prior to the official launch, the Railways conducted several dry runs, gradually improving the cleaning time from an initial 28 minutes to 18 minutes. The process is now streamlined to an impressive 14 minutes

Starting with Vande Bharat, the railway intends to extend this effective cleaning concept to other trains in a phased manner
