Safdarjung recorded 1.8 mm of rain between 2:30 am and 5:30 am, followed by 7.3 mm from 5:30 am to 8:30 am. Other areas, including Palam, Lodhi Road, and Pusa, recorded varying rainfall levels. The Meteorological Department predicts generally cloudy skies and light to moderate rain throughout the day.

The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 11°C, 2.8°C higher than normal, and a maximum temperature of 20°C was expected. The air quality index (AQI) remained in the 'very poor' category with a reading of 371 as of 7 am.

Several areas across Delhi registered high AQI levels, including Anand Vihar (398), IGI Airport (340), and ITO (380), indicating poor air quality. The rain has helped reduce pollution levels, providing some relief to residents and tourists.

Locals and tourists expressed their appreciation for the cooler weather and improved air quality, with comments highlighting the pleasant conditions. The city experienced dense fog in certain areas, such as Kartavya Path, which reduced visibility and affected outdoor activities.

The IMD has predicted thunderstorms with rain for the next two days, which may bring further showers to the region. Following improvements in air quality, the government lifted Stage IV 'Severe+' measures but will continue to enforce Stages I, II, and III to prevent further pollution deterioration.
