Congress, DMK, and Left party MPs joined the demonstration, raising slogans against the alleged Modi-Adani collusion. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra participated in the protest along with other party leaders.
Demonstrators gathered at prominent locations in Parliament, including the Makar Dwar steps and Samvidhan Sadan. The protests are part of a series of daily demonstrations led by the Congress during the Winter session.
On Wednesday, opposition MPs greeted BJP leaders with tricolour cards and roses, urging parliamentary discussions on the Adani issue. Earlier in the week, MPs carried blue bags with Modi-Adani caricatures and slogans like "Modi-Adani Bhai-Bhai."
Rahul Gandhi also conducted a mock "interview" wearing Modi and Adani masks to highlight the alleged collusion. The opposition alleges that Adani’s indictment in a US court vindicates their demand for a JPC probe.
The Congress accuses the Modi government of shielding Adani, demanding his immediate arrest. The Adani Group has denied all allegations, calling them "baseless."
