The Modi 3.0 cabinet comprises 72 Ministers, including 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with independent charge, and 36 Ministers of State. 

Amit Anil Chandra Shah, who was the 10th President of the BJP from 2014 to 2020, has retained his position as Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation.

Nitin Gadkari, the longest-serving minister for road transport and highways, has been retained as the Minister of Road Transport and Highways. He held the portfolio as the Minister of Road Transport and Highways in the last two governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Rajnath Singh, the Leader of the House, Lok Sabha, since 2014, has been retained as the Minister of Defense in Modi Government 3.0. He was the President of the BJP from 2005–2009 and again from 2019–2014.

Nirmala Sitharaman is an Indian economist, politician, and senior leader of the BJP. She has now been retained as the Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs in the new Union Government.

Jagat Prakash Nadda, serving as the 11th national president of the BJP since 2020, has been allotted as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare and the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Being the National President of the party, Nadda is the key decision-maker for the BJP.

Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is an Indian diplomat, politician, member of the BJP, and Member of Parliament since July 5, 2019. He has retained his position as the Minister of External Affairs in the new Union government led by Narendra Modi.

Piyush Vedprakash Goyal, a politician and chartered accountant who served as cabinet minister in the Government of India, is allotted the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He held portfolios such as Minister of Textiles, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution. 

Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been allotted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the Ministry of Rural Development. He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Madhya Pradesh from Budhni from 2006 to 2024. He was the longest-serving Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Pralhad Joshi, who represents the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, is allotted the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. He has held the portfolio for the same department since May 2019.

Ashwini Vaishnaw has been retained as the Minister of Railways, along with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. He is an Indian politician and former IAS officer who is currently serving as the 39th Minister of Railways, 55th Communications Minister, and 2nd Electronics & Information Technology Minister in the Government of India since 2021.

Jyotiraditya M. Scindia has been allotted as the Minister of Communications and Minister of Development of the North Eastern Region since 2024. Earlier, Scindia served as the Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel in the second Narendra Modi ministry in 2021.

Kiren Rijiju was Cabinet Minister of Earth Sciences and Food Processing Industries in the Government of India from 2023 until 2024 and a member of the Lok Sabha from Arunachal West. He is allotted the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who served as the Minister of Jal Shakti from 2019 until 2024, takes over as the Minister of Culture and Minister of Tourism. Being a member of parliament, he represents Jodhpur and is a member of the BJP.

Giriraj Singh, who served as Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, now takes over as Minister of Textiles. He is the Member of Parliament from the Begusarai Loksabha constituency.

Manohar Lal Khattar, who served as the 10th Chief Minister of Haryana, is allotted to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Ministry of Power. He is a member of the BJP and a former RSS Pracharak.

Mansukh Laxmanbhai Mandaviya is allotted as the Minister of Labour and Employment and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. He is also a member of the Rajya Sabha from Gujrat.

Annpurna Devi has been announced as the 5th Minister of Women and Child Development in the new Union Government since 2024. She was Minister of State for Education from 2019 until 2024.

Chandrakant Raghunath Patil, better known as C. R. Patil, is the President of the BJP Gujarat State Unit. He is the first non-Gujarati to hold this position and is a member of the current 17th Lok Sabha. He is allotted the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

Haradanahalli Devegowda Kumaraswamy, an Indian politician, film producer, and businessman who served as the 18th Chief Minister of Karnataka, is now allotted as the Minister of Heavy Industries and the Minister of Steel.

G. Kishan Reddy has been allotted to the Ministry of Coal and the Ministry of Mines. He served as Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Development of the North Eastern Region of India from 2019 to 2024.

Hardeep Singh Puri, who currently holds the record as the longest serving Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs in history, is allotted Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas in the new Union government.

Bhupender Yadav, who served as the Union Cabinet Minister of Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the Government of India earlier, is retained as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change only.

Jual Oram, who represents the Sundargarh constituency of Odisha in Lok Sakbha, is allotted as the Minister of Tribal Affairs. He is a former cabinet minister under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Virendra Kumar, a prominent Scheduled Caste figure in the party, is an eight-time MP who won his fourth consecutive election from the Tikamgarh (SC) seat. He has been retained as the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment. Earlier, he was appointed women and child development minister for the first time in September 2017.

Sarbananda Sonowal is allotted the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways. Before he served as the 14th Chief Minister of Assam from 2016 to 2021, he was the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India, from 2014 to 2016, and the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Skill Development. 

Rajiv Ranjan Singh is allotted as the Minister of Panchayati Raj and Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying. He is also the Member of Parliament representing Munger in the 17th Lok Sabha from Janata Dal (United).

Jitan Ram Manjhi, an Indian politician from the eastern state of Bihar, is allotted the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. Earlier, he served as Bihar's 23rd Chief Minister from May 20, 2014, to February 20, 2015. He was also the founding president of the Hindustani Awam Morcha.

Dharmendra Pradhan is allotted as the Minister of Education in the new Union government. He has also been the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Minister of Steel earlier.

Chirag Paswan, president of the Lok Janshakti Party, is the new Minister of Food Processing Industries. He has been a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, from Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency since 2024.

Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, serving as the youngest union cabinet minister of India, was allotted the post of Minister of Civil Aviation in Modi Government 3.0.
