The 19th edition of the prestigious Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 (TMM), also widely regarded as Asia's premier running event, kicked off in the early hours of January 21

This year, over 50,000 participants put on their running shoes to participate in the event

The Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 kicked off from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai

The participation breakdown includes 10,711 runners in the Marathon, 15,218 in the Half Marathon, 7,130 in the Open 10K, 20,590 in the Dream Run, 1,782 in the Senior Citizens Run, and 1,114 in the Champions with Disability category

The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued an advisory and shared a complete list of traffic diversions and road closures in parts of the city on January 21
