Bhim Army chief Chandra Shekhar Azad, along with other activists, led a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi during the Bharat Bandh. The protest is part of the nationwide reaction to the Supreme Court's ruling on SC/ST reservations, which has sparked significant unrest.

In Patna, police resorted to lathi-charging protesters who were participating in the Bharat Bandh. The demonstrators were protesting against the Supreme Court's August 1 judgement, which allows the sub-classification of SCs and STs within the reservation system.

In Jharkhand's capital city, Ranchi, the Bharat Bandh has led to the complete blockage of major roads, including Harmu Chowk, Kathal Mode, and Chapu Toli Chowk. Protesters are demonstrating by burning tyres on the roads, expressing their anger over the Supreme Court's ruling.

The Bharat Bandh has created a lockdown-like atmosphere in Rajasthan's Bikaner district, where SC/ST community members are actively monitoring the situation. Groups have formed to ensure the success of the shutdown, while police remain on high alert to prevent any untoward incidents.

Gwalior district in Madhya Pradesh is under tight police surveillance as a protest rally called by the Bahujan Samaj Party and Bhim Sena takes place. The rally is part of the ongoing Bharat Bandh protests against the Supreme Court's decision on SC/ST reservations.

The Supreme Court's ruling on August 1, which allows states to sub-classify SCs and STs for reservations, has triggered widespread protests across India. The apex court's decision, delivered by a 6:1 majority, has been met with strong opposition from various communities.

The Bharat Bandh has brought to the forefront deep divisions within Indian society over the Supreme Court's recent judgement on SC/ST reservations. The ruling has led to significant unrest, with protests occurring in various states, including Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh.
