Forty-eight private schools in Bengaluru encountered a moment of panic when they received menacing emails hinting at a bomb threat. This unnerving situation led to the immediate alerting of the police by school authorities.

In response to the alarming emails, law enforcement swiftly mobilized bomb disposal units and anti-sabotage check teams to these schools. There's a careful and thorough search ongoing across the premises.

Parents, staff, and students were promptly evacuated from the schools as a precautionary measure. Thankfully, no suspicious objects have been discovered so far, suggesting that the threats might be unfounded.

A large-scale search operation ensued as the police teams investigated the emailed bomb threats across different parts of Bengaluru. The swift evacuation of students and staff was part of this proactive response.

Senior police officials reiterated that there's no reason for alarm and reassured that thorough searches were conducted. The incidents are being treated with caution, considering the possibility of hoax messages.

Similar incidents occurred in the past, with miscreants sending hoax emails about bomb threats to Bengaluru schools. Law enforcement had previously identified the perpetrators behind these incidents.

Karnataka's Chief Minister Siddaramaiah instructed the police to investigate the matter seriously and secure schools and temples. He assured that necessary precautions and security measures were being taken.

Leaders like Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and Home Minister G Parameshwara expressed confidence in apprehending the mischief-makers behind these emails. They urged parents and citizens not to panic, emphasizing that safety measures were actively pursued.
