Waterlogging has been reported near Aggarsain chowk. Traffic officials are on the spot to facilitate the traffic flow. Commuters are requested to plan their travel accordingly

National Highway NH 48 and Jaipur National Highway have also been waterlogged since today morning, Gurugram Traffic Police informed

The weather office has predicted rainfall along with gusty winds from May 21 to 24

According to the weather department, this was the first moderate-intensity storm of this season

According to news agency PTI, the worst affected stretches were Narsinghpur, Jharsa Crossing, Rajeev Chowk, Sheetla Mata Road, Civil Lines, Golf Course Extension Road, Vatika Chowk, Daulatabad Flyover etc

 

 

Gusty winds affected the flight operations at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport

At least 140 flights have been delayed till now this morning due to heavy rain in Delhi and thunderstorm over the airport area

The IMD also warned that impact is expected due to the ongoing rain and thunderstorm and advised people to follow a few precautions

IMD on Monday said that heatwave conditions willnremain suppressed till May 29-30
