The committee was constituted to deliberate and develop the saffron party's manifesto for Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

On Monday, several leaders including Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw, Piyush Goyal and Arjun Munda were spotted attending the meeting.

During the meeting, the committee reportedly was scheduled to deliberate on the BJP's manifesto for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 which they term as 'Sankalp Patra'.

Reportedly, at the manifesto committee meeting Union Minister Piyush Goyal felicitated Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

The manifesto for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is likely to present a roadmap for 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) and also focus on the fulfilment of promises made ahead of the 2019 polls like the Ram Mandir.

The 27-member committee, which includes several union ministers and chief ministers, is headed by Rajnath Singh.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is the panel's convener and Union Minister Piyush Goyal is the co-convener.

Other members of the committee include chief ministers of states like Gujarat, Assam and Madhya Pradesh and one leader from each minority community is also on the panel.

Rajnath Singh was the head for manifesto committee constituted ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 and several members have been repeated in the present panel as well.
