Karnataka Jala Samrakshana Samiti leaders, including Kuruburu Shanthakumar, were detained by police during the bandh.

Kannada activists expressed their anger towards the government's actions regarding the Cauvery issue.

Police maintained a strong presence with security measures during the Bengaluru bandh.

Prohibitory orders under Section 144 were in place to ensure peace during the bandh. The police also foiled a farmer's suicide attempt amid protests on Bandh. 

Limited rush was seen at Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus stations during the bandh.

Bengaluru Urban district Deputy Commissioner declared a holiday for schools and colleges due to the bandh.

Ola-Uber Drivers' Association and Hotel Owners' Association show solidarity with the bandh on September 29.

Employees in the IT sector were advised to work from home as part of the bandh's impact.

The opposition BJP and JD(S) expressed their support for the bandh and call for agitation against the government's decisions.
