The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid his first official visit to India, marking an important milestone.

When the Crown Prince arrived in New Delhi on September 8, Union Minister Piyush Goyal greeted him warmly and ceremoniously.

The meeting between the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House demonstrated the two leaders' strong bond, as they exchanged cordial greetings and engaged in conversations.

The visit marks the culmination of India-UAE's Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which has seen substantial growth in commerce, investment, and energy.

During his two-day visit, the Crown Prince plans to pay respects to India's highest office by calling on President Droupadi Murmu and visiting Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation.

The Business Forum in Mumbai on September 10 will provide a forum for business executives from both countries to debate economic relations and explore new areas of partnership.

The Ministry of External Affairs emphasised the significance of the visit, noting that it will strengthen India-UAE bilateral relations and create opportunities for collaboration in new and emerging fields.

PM Modi's visit follows his February trip to the UAE, when he met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and saw the signing of eight agreements to deepen economic and commercial cooperation.
