Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the 'Chief Minister My School, Beautiful School' campaign at Raj Bhavan.

The initiative aims to elevate the educational standard and overall development of students under the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Adarsh School Yojana, fostering a competitive spirit within schools.

Alongside the 'Chief Minister My School, Beautiful School' campaign, several other initiatives were unveiled during the event. These include the Adoption School Scheme, Mahawachan Utsav (Reading Movement in Maharashtra), My School My Parsbagh, and Cleanliness Monitor Phase – 2.

Many dignitaries including Governor Ramesh Bais, School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Skill Development Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha, Rural Development Minister Girish Mahajan, School Education Department Principal Secretary Ranjitsinh Deol and Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare were present on this occasion.

We have made many changes in the school education department. Children like schools if they have good facilities, said CM Shinde at the event.

There have been radical changes between the schools of our time and the schools of today. On this occasion, I expressed the opinion that there is a need to establish rite schools in the state, he further said in his social media post.

Prime Minister Narendra Modiji had taken the initiative to remove the fear of exams in the minds of students by taking a program like 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'. This means that education has a unique importance in the country, CM Shinde further noted.

As Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray used to say, there is a need to create hands that provide employment, he added.

CM Shinde said, "This campaign is being implemented to create a competitive environment in the schools of the state and for the overall development of the students and it is hoped that positive results will be seen."
