Although Kangana has joined the BJP, her grandfather was the MLA from Congress party from same constituency

The constituency has been a stronghold of Congress, thus Kangana will have a tough fight

Congress however has yet not declared their candidate from Mandi. It is likely that the sitting MP Pratibha Singh will be re-nominated
