Haseena Parkar had two sons, Danish and Alishah, with the former reportedly being Dawood's favourite nephew. Danish passed away in a car accident while returning from Khed in 2006. Alishah, sources said, is comparatively very quiet and did not fit in with the activities of the gang. pic/YouTube

Haseena Parkar was married to Ismail Parkar. Haseena used to stay with her son Alishah and in Nagpada's, Gordon House building, opposite the local police station. She had apparently combined two flats in the building's first floor into a luxurious residence

Haseena Parkar's first brush with the crime world began after the murder of her husband Ismail Parkar by Dawood's rival Arun Gawli gang. Dawood avenged his brother-in-law Ismail's murder by sending sharpshooters who killed Gawli shooters at JJ Hospital. The incident famously known as the 'JJ Hospital shootout' that took place in 1991 sent shockwaves across Mumbai

When Haseena was booked by the Mumbai Crime Branch for extortion, she told the police and court that she had stopped talking to her brother Dawood after her husband Ibrahim Parkar was gunned down by Arun Gawli's men in 1991. However, police officials' version was completely different. According to Mumbai Police, after Dawood killed Gawli's shooters at J J Hospital, Haseena's rise as the underworld queen began and after Dawood fled the country, Hasina started taking care of Dawood's properties and interests in Mumbai. pic/YouTube

Police officials said Haseena Parkar would take cuts from builders for development and redevelopment and almost no building could be constructed from South Mumbai right up to Bandra and Kurla without her assent. Haseena would also settle disputes between parties, and her word was final. They said she was in regular touch with Dawood and must have met him several times during her trips to Dubai and Pakistan.
