Hundreds of Jet Airways employees including pilots, engineers, and cabin crew organised a peaceful protest requesting the government's interference to save the airline from its crisis situation

Beleaguered carrier Jet Airways halted all operations, after its plea for emergency funding from its lenders was rejected leaving several employees jobless. The airline, known for its famous tagline, 'The Joy of Flying', shut down its operations on the night of April 17, 2019, as it is under a heavy debt of 1 billion USD.
