Come August 1 and Muslims all over the world would celebrate Eid-al-Adha. The festival is celebrated to remember Ibrahim's (Abraham) compliance to sacrifice his son to prove his obedience to Allah. On this day, people wear their best clothes and meet their friends and family for a grand and scrumptious meal, that is divided into three - for family, neighbours and friends, for the needy and the last part for the immediate family. Although things will be different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will not stop revellers from celebrating the festival with fervour. (Pictures/Atul Kamble, Ashish Raje, PTI)
