Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign rallies frequently compare the pre-2014 era to his rule since May 2014, when the BJP-led NDA came to office. This comparison enables him to present his successes to the electorate and influence their voting decisions.
PM Modi reaffirmed his proactive attitude during a recent rally in Dharashiv, Maharashtra, saying, "Modi does not shy away from problems, he confronts them." This mentality, combined with pushing the younger generation to think big, distinguishes him from past presidents. He values transparent decision-making over political correctness, reported IANS.
According to the news agency report, as Gujarat's Chief Minister, PM Modi built a development model that drove him to the Prime Minister's Office in 2014. In 2019, he won a historic win, becoming only the third leader since Independence to return to office with a full majority.
PM Modi's appeal stems from his ability to connect emotionally with voters while emphasising India's developmental achievements and future ambitions. He highlights the 'Viksit Bharat' objective, which envisions India as the third-largest economy and implements social welfare programmes, the report added.

According to the report, furthermore, PM Modi is revitalising India's cultural and civilizational past through projects such as the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He skillfully addresses opposing narratives, as evidenced by his response to the Congress platform and statements from leaders such as Rahul Gandhi and Sam Pitroda.
PM Modi's energy and ability to connect with local issues during campaigns further enhance his appeal. His decisive leadership and strategic political manoeuvres have contributed significantly to the BJP's electoral success, the IANS report further stated.
