Two men injured in the blaze that gutted a makeshift firecracker market set up for Diwali in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh died during treatment in different hospitals in Delhi, taking the death toll to four, police said on Thursday, according to the PTI.
The news agency reported, Station House Officer (SHO) of the Raya Police Station Ajay Kishore said, " One Sripal Bharadwaj (55), a primary school teacher admitted in the Safdarjung Hospital and one Dharmendra alias Pappu (40) admitted in AIIMS Delhi succumbed to injuries on Wednesday."
Two of the injured had died during treatment on Monday night, a day after the incident, said the SHO, as per the PTI.
According to district health officials, five others injured in the incident are still undergoing treatment at AIIMS, while another injured is admitted at the Safdarjung hospital.

Three fire tenders took 45 minutes to douse the blaze, Chief Fire Officer Narendra Pratap Singh said, adding that seven of the 23 firecracker shops were gutted in the fire.
Meanwhile, two brothers were killed when they lost control of the motorcycle they were riding and it collided with a roadside electricity pole in Mathura, police said.
Station House Officer (SHO) of the Jaint Police station Ajay Verma said, "One Babloo (30) and Banti (27) were travelling on a motorcycle that collided with an electric pole. The accident took place near the Anant Colony on Wednesday."
"Prima facie it appears that the bike was overspeeding and they lost its control. Also, both the brothers were not wearing helmets, due to which they died on the spot," said the SHO.
Police have sent the body for a postmortem examination, they said.
In an another incident in Odisha, A middle-aged woman allegedly killed herself after her husband was killed in a road accident in Odisha's Khordha district, police said on Tuesday, reported the PTI on Tuesday.
According to the PTI, the woman reportedly ended her life by hanging herself at her house in Benagodiapatna village in Bolgarh police station area on Monday night, they said.
Her husband was critically injured in a road accident when he was returning home on a motorcycle on Sunday evening. He was first admitted to the Khurda hospital, and then taken to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar where he died, they added, as per the PTI.
