The must-awaited Union Budget 2023-24 will be presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the coming week on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The Union Finance Ministry prepares the Budget in consultation with the Niti Aayog and concerned ministries.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's budget presentation will start at 11 am on February 1. The presentation will continue for up to two hours. The Union Budget 2023 will be broadcast live on Lok Sabha TV by the Central government.
The Parliamentary session of the Union Budget 2023 is expected to be held on January 31. Besides the primary presentation of the budget on February 1, the budget session is likely to continue till April 6.
The Ministry of Finance will be delivering the Union Budget 2023-24 in paperless form like the previous two budgets.

As per the Twitter post by the ministry, citizens can see the union budget documents on their mobile by downloading the Union Budget Mobile App. The app is available on both the Android and Apple OS platforms.
The budget will be available online for the citizen after the completion of the Budget Speech by the Finance Minister in Parliament on Wednesday, February 1.
The Halwa ceremony, which marks the final stage of the Budget preparation process was held at the Union Finance Ministry headquarters, North Block, New Delhi. The finance minister begins the Halwa ceremony by stirring the halwa in a kadhai and then serves it to colleagues at the ministry's headquarters in New Delhi.

This year's Budget presentation will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi government's last full budget before the next parliamentary elections, slated for April-May 2024.
