The CRPF personnel were deployed to provide security to the IRB camp. Search operations are currently underway to apprehend the attackers.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh condemned the attack, stating, "Such actions demonstrate cowardice against dedicated security personnel who work tirelessly day and night to uphold peace and stability in the state. Their sacrifice will not go in vain."
In response to the attack, security forces conducted search operations in Churachandpur district, resulting in the destruction of three bunkers and the recovery of four firearms. These operations targeted vulnerable areas in the hills and valleys of the district, where the militants may have taken refuge.
