Ayodhya city is all ready for Pran Pratistha of Lord Ram and inaugurate the newly built Ram Mandir. However, the city is engulfed in dense fog and the weather department has also issued alerts of cold waves in Uttar Pradesh.
The thousands of devotees thronging for Ram Mandir complex for the ceremony have been experiencing extreme chills and cold wave from last few days.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings of very dense fog in Uttar Pradesh. Ahead of the grand ceremony of Pran Pratistha at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, dense fog for next 24 hours and temperature as low as 6 degrees Celsius is predicted by the weather department. The IMD has posted the weather update of Monday morning on X. IMD has predicted the maximum temperature in Ayodhya betweeb 15 to 17 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature between 6 to 8 degrees Celsius for the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi has arrived for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony and the rituals have begun. a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit will lead the main rituals.
The process of Pran Pratishtha has already started from January 16. On January 18, Ram Lalla's idol was installed in the sanctum sectorum of the grand new temple. The prime minister will then address the gathering which includes seers and prominent personalities.
In the morning, security personnel checked every vehicle at the Lata Mangeshkar Chowk while residents and devotees were asked not to spill over the street. Around 8000 people are expected to attend the grand event at Ram Mandir.
Guests have arrived at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple for Pran Pratishtha. The list includes religious gurus, film stars, sports stars, political leaders and business tycoons.
Team of NDRF, Anti -terrorist squad and Rapid Action Force are deployed in Ayodhya to handle emergency situation any.
