Three earthquakes in a span of around half an hour jolted Jaipur in the early hours of Friday, waking people up and some running out of their homes, reported news agency PTI.
According to the police, there was no information of any loss of life.
The first earthquake of 4.4 magnitude was recorded at 4:09 am, the of 3.1 magnitude at 4:22 am and the third of 3.4 magnitude at 4:25 am.
According to the National Center for Seismology, "Earthquake of magnitude 3.4 occurred at 4:25 am at a depth of 10 km in Jaipur."

People took to social media to enquire about the earthquake while many shared pictures of people gathering outside their houses.
No reports of casualties or damages are known yet.
Residents felt the tremors as the first earthquake hit Jaipur in the early hours of Friday, forcing them to come out of their houses.
"The tremors were strong, and my whole family woke up. The tremors continued for a little long. It happened around ten past four in the morning. There are no injuries though," Vikas, a local resident, told news agnecy ANI.
Reacting to the tremors, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje tweeted, "Earthquake tremors have been felt at other places in the state including Jaipur. I hope you all are safe!"
Earlier on Thursday, An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale hit 61 kilometres East of Mizoram's Ngopa, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The earthquake occurred at around 1.08 am. According to the NCS, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 80 kilometres.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:3.6, Occurred on 20-07-2023, 01:08:36 IST, Lat: 23.93 & Long: 93.81, Depth: 80 Km ,Location: 61km E of Ngopa, Mizoram, India," the National Center for Seismology tweeted.
Earlier on Monday, an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 jolted Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, the NCS reported. According to the NCS, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 kilometres.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 jolted 79 kilometres Southeast of Afghanistan's Fayzabad on Tuesday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
According to NCS, the earthquake occurred at 1:28 pm on Tuesday. The quake was recorded at a depth of 110 Kilometers.
