Marital woes push woman to commit suicide

A 27 year-old married woman, who was working as an accountant with a private insurance company, committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence here, police said.

The deceased identified as Jayamala was married to Gajendra Prasad, an air conditioning mechanic, police sources said.

"The couple who have been married for over one year used to quarrel frequently."Yesterday morning also a quarrel ensued between them after which Gajendra left for work.

Jayamala then asked her mother to come over", police said. However, before Jayamala's mother could reach her daughter's residence, Jayamala hung herself.
