Mumbai: After a technical snag that delayed the ISC results on May 17, ICSE schools in the city were once again worried as they could not download their ICSE (class 10) results on Wednesday through the website. Students, however, were getting their individual scores through SMS.
"We were on the website since 3 pm but the link was not functional till almost 3:45 pm. Thankfully students were not facing any trouble in getting their results via SMS," said Paul Machado, principal of Campion High School in Colaba. Most ICSE schools were hooked on to the website till four, only then could they download the overall scores.
On May 17, when the ISC (class 12) results were announced, the board website - www.cisce.org - had crashed, leaving schools and students waiting for their scores till 6 pm. However, ICSE students didn't have to face a similar ordeal. "The website might have slowed down because schools across the country were trying to get their scores, there's no problem with the website otherwise," said a spokesperson from Council for the Indian School certificate Examinations (CISCE) board.
Students can get their results through SMS by sending the key words - ICSE (seven digit unique id) to 09248082883/ 51818/ 56263/ 58888. Schools can also approach the helpdesk at 022-67226106 for obtaining an additional copy of the tabulation through email.
